About the event
As part of Women in Construction (WIC) Week 2026, you’re invited to step behind the scenes of one of Missouri’s most significant and complex construction projects—the Missouri Multi-Agency State Laboratory Campus in Jefferson City. The tour will be led by McCownGordon and will offer an exclusive, firsthand look at how large-scale public projects come together through innovation, collaboration, and the expertise of skilled trades professionals.
Attendees will experience a guided walk-through of the active site, gaining insight into the scope, purpose, and coordination required to deliver a multi-agency facility of this scale. The tour will highlight key phases of construction, safety practices, and the critical roles played by diverse teams across the project. After the tour, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a crafting activity - painting canvas tote bags! Appetizers will be provided by our host McCownGordon!
