The Central Missouri Chapter came together for a meaningful October meeting centered around Breast Cancer Awareness Month, combining education, fellowship, and an important reminder about the power of early detection.

Our meeting was graciously hosted by our newly installed Chapter President, Angie, who welcomed members into her home for the evening. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect in a relaxed setting while focusing on a topic that impacts so many women, families, and communities.

Chapter Treasurer Kaylee led an informative presentation featuring Know Your Lemons, an educational resource designed to help increase awareness of breast health and early detection. Members learned about signs and changes to be aware of, as well as resources available to help women become more informed and proactive about their health.

The presentation served as an important reminder that awareness goes beyond wearing pink. Education, knowing what to look for, and encouraging conversations about breast health can make a meaningful difference.

A special thank you to Angie for opening her home and hosting our chapter, and to Kaylee for sharing this important information with our members.

As women supporting women in the construction industry and throughout our community, we are proud to use our time together not only to strengthen professional connections, but also to share knowledge and resources that can positively impact one another.
