Our chapter hosted a booth at the annual Central Missouri AGCMO Build My Future event! Chapter members coached students through a timed skills relay booth. The competitiveness was fierce! The fastest time at the end of each hour received a gift card, but nobody went home empty handed - all participants received a piece of candy for attempting the challenge!
The goal was to get the students excited about future careers in construction - mission accomplished!
1st Station - Safety First! Put on your PPE
2nd Station - Use the impact driver
3rd Station - Locate the item on a set of plans
(students drew popsicle sticks with various items to locate)
4th Station - Use a pipe cutter
