Honoring Connie Leipard: Celebrating 31 Years of Dedication

The NAWIC Central Missouri Chapter is proud to celebrate one of our most dedicated and inspiring members — Connie Leipard, who recently marked an incredible 31 years of membership with NAWIC.

Connie has been a cornerstone of our chapter — a true heartbeat of NAWIC Central Missouri Chapter 341. Her three decades of involvement reflect unwavering commitment, leadership, and passion for advancing women in the construction industry.

Throughout her tenure, Connie has not only served our chapter with distinction but has also made a tremendous impact at the national level. She led with grace and vision as the 2016–2017 NAWIC National President and later continued her service as National Parliamentarian from 2021–2022. Her leadership and advocacy have inspired countless women to find their voice and purpose within the industry.

Beyond her remarkable service to NAWIC, Connie exemplifies excellence as the owner of Quality Drywall Construction, where she continues to break barriers and set standards in a traditionally male-dominated field. Her influence extends far beyond her business — Connie actively contributes to her community through leadership roles with the Boone County Fire Protection District, Boone County Children’s Services, Central Missouri Subcontracting Enterprises, The Builders’ Association Central Region, and the Great Rivers Council Boy Scouts of America. Her commitment to excellence and community impact earned her recognition as Columbia’s Businesswoman of the Year in 2016, a testament to her professionalism, service, and heart for others.

Having Connie as part of our chapter for more than three decades is more than a milestone — it’s a privilege. She carries our history, champions our mission, and continues to light the way for the next generation of women in construction.
