As part of WIC Week 2026, the NAWIC Central Missouri Chapter 341 hosted an impactful and thought-provoking webinar focused on a challenge many professionals face but don’t always talk about—imposter syndrome. The session featured keynote speaker Quinn Texmo of Turner Construction, who led an engaging and eye-opening discussion that resonated deeply with attendees.
Throughout the webinar, Quinn introduced participants to the five primary archetypes of imposter syndrome, helping to put language and structure around a feeling many experience in their careers. From the perfectionist to the natural genius, each archetype highlighted different ways individuals may question their abilities, despite clear evidence of their success and qualifications. Attendees had the opportunity to reflect on their own experiences and identify patterns that may be holding them back.
What made the session especially impactful was how relatable and interactive it was. Quinn created a space where participants felt comfortable acknowledging these challenges while also equipping them with tools to reframe their thinking. The conversation encouraged a shift from self-doubt to self-awareness—an essential step in personal and professional growth.
The webinar also reinforced an important message: imposter syndrome does not discriminate. It can affect anyone, regardless of experience level or accomplishments. By bringing this topic to the forefront during WIC Week, NAWIC Chapter 341 continues to support the development, confidence, and advancement of women in construction.
The level of engagement throughout the call was a true testament to how meaningful this topic is. Attendees left not only with a better understanding of imposter syndrome, but also with actionable strategies to challenge it and support others who may be experiencing the same feelings.
We extend our sincere thanks to Quinn Texmo and Turner Construction for sharing their time and expertise, and to everyone who joined us for this powerful session.
As we continue to celebrate WIC Week 2026, we are reminded that building confidence is just as important as building structures—and together, we are stronger when we support one another.
