WIC Week 2026 was nothing short of inspiring as our chapter celebrated the incredible women who strengthen and shape our industry every day. With something special planned for each day—from a vibrant kick‑off brunch to hands‑on learning like self‑defense basics and so much more—our WIC Week committee truly went above and beyond. The week was filled with empowerment, connection, and appreciation, showcasing the outstanding contributions of the fantastic women in our chapter and reminding us why women in construction continue to pave the way forward.

We kicked off WIC Week on Sunday, March 1st with a delicious brunch at Eclipse Catering’s cozy tasting room in Columbia.

The menu was truly palate‑pleasing, featuring breakfast favorites like chicken & waffles, seasonal fruit, yogurt parfaits, and mini quiche, plus a festive Mimosa and Bloody Mary bar alongside a refreshing mocktail selection. There was something for everyone!

We were thrilled to be joined by a few of our NAWIC sisters from Greater Kansas City Chapter 100 and St. Louis Chapter 38, whose laughter and conversation made the morning even more special.

It was the perfect way to launch WIC Week and celebrate the ever‑evolving roles of women in the construction industry.
